Blocked drive to eject on Windows
- Windows: Press simultaneously the keys [Windows] and [E], so that the Explorer opens. Click on the drive with the right mouse button and choose the Option "eject".
- Restart: the Computer Is still fully functional, in most cases, a simple restart of the system. Press the button directly after the restart, before Loading Windows on the eject button.
- Manual Opening: you can open the drive mechanically by means of a paper clip or needle. In the case of Laptops, you will find the eject button a little hole, in the case of desktop computers, you need to first open the screen-door of the drive. Press the paper clip or needle to gently with a little pressure into the hole until the drive open.
- Hardware check: it Should not be solved, the Problem remains, check the connections of the drive. Turn off the Computer, press on the back of the computer, the Power switch and remove the mains plug. Screw the PC and remove any dust in the connector of the drive.
