USB cable self-repair: shielding defective
With just a few steps you have repaired the USB cable and thus the functionality is restored:
- The USB is damaged-cable, you can repair the shield yourself. To do this, you need a spring from a ballpoint pen and some duct tape.
- The spring wrap easily about the fragile place, so this is again connected with the cable.
- If you have no spring at Hand, you can also use a thin piece of wire or clay.
- In order to protect the cable, wrap the body with the spring completely with duct tape. This is the best commercial tape, but regular Scotch Tape is sufficient.
- The USB cable can now be re-used.
