Sound only on Headset output - so it goes

If you connect a Headset to your Laptop, you should hear the sound only through the headphones. In some cases, the standard Windows configuration on strike, however, and the Notebook will continue to re-sound. Playback configure devices: sound only via Headset

To have the sound only through your Headset again, you must follow these steps:
  1. Open the control panel. To do this, press simultaneously the keys [Windows] + [S] and type "control panel".
  2. Now click on "Hardware and Sound" then "Sound".
  3. Under the "playback" tab you will find usually several devices, among other things, the "speaker". Click with the right mouse button and select "Disable", the sound output to turn off their Notebook speakers.
