Raspberry Pi: how to install an operating system
- First download Raspbian, the official OS for the Raspberry Pi from the official site down.
- Connect during the download, the keyboard and the Display to the Raspberry Pi but do not connect it to the mains supply.
- You unpack after a successful Download the ZIP file and drag the IMG file to a memory card, which you have connected to the PC.
- Once the copy process is complete, insert the memory card into the Slot on the Raspberry Pi. After that, you can connect it to the mains.
