Firmware PS3 update
- You can download first the latest Firmware for your PS3 down. These can be found in our CHIP-download area.
- Now plug a USB Stick into your Computer and delete all the data on this are.
- Create on the Stick is a folder named "PS3" and another folder named "UPDATE".
- Now paste the downloaded Firmware file in the folder "UPDATE".
- Remove the USB Stick from the Computer and plug it into the PlayStation.
- Select in the PS3 Home menu category "System update" and then choose "update via storage media".
- Now select the USB Stick, it will install the Firmware automatically.

Tip: you should regularly check your PS3 game saves to a USB Stick save. So you can play quickly and don't need to start from the beginning again.
