Phone: No dial tone - what it can be?
- If you have on your phone there is no dial tone and your Internet doesn't work, then you should log in to your provider. We will explain how you can , Telekom, Vodafone or o2 contact. It is a technical Defect possibly.
- You should have an IP connection, it can also be one of your devices is defective or not compatible. The Internet and phone connection belongs here, namely, to a line and is not separated. Try to take your appliances from electricity and to connect after a few minutes with the power grid. Maybe your Problem is fixed now.
- If you have no dial tone on your phone, but your Internet is not working, there is probably a fault in the telephone line. In this case, contact your telephone service provider.
- If your phone connection is new, you should check again whether you have connected your devices to each other properly.
