I. PDF
In order for your E-Book Reader with the PDF Format comes along, you need to convert it first into a native Kindle Format. You have two different options:
a) a pdf by Email convert
If you like the PDF to your Kindle e-mail address, converts the device file with a little Trick immediately.
- Send an Email to your Kindle address. The address, you know, for example, in your Amazon account under "My Kindle".
- The Trick of the matter is: In the subject line of the Email type the word "convert". Then the Kindle converts the file automatically in a common Format.
b) in Kindle-compatible format with Calibre

II. The file on the Kindle
After you have converted your PDF successfully in a Kindle-readable and a file to be processed, you must transfer your PDF to the Kindle. The following options you have:
- When you buy a kindle, you get your own Kindle email address. In General, this is: Benutzername@kindle.com. The first method is that you send the PDF via email to your Kindle address. Make sure, however, that this is also logged. This step allows you to connect with the "convert"function from above.
- The second method is the USB Transfer. If you charge your Kindle anyway and it via USB with your computer connected, you can copy the converted PDF, you can also directly over.
- The third method is the Transmission with the Tool "Send to Kindle". This Feature is still relatively new and was developed by Amazon in order to make the previously cumbersome data transfer on the Kindle easier. Download can you "Send to Kindle" here.
Tip: If you want to have already a PDF on the Kindle, and not format, read the documents in the landscape format, is significantly more pleasant.
