Case fan from the PC connect – so it works
- The fan has a small plug with three Pins, you can plug these directly into the motherboard under "CHA_FAN1" or similar.
- Then you can use the fan and the cooling on the free Tool SpeedFan control.
- If you have a wider plug (Molex connector), you need to connect the fan directly to the power supply.
- This way, you can be unable to control the fan speed via a program.
- The width of the plug supplying the fan with power. Unlike the small plug that can be no additional data to transfer.
