The resolution of the Oculus Rift
- The Oculus Rift CV1 (Consumer Version 1) is the latest Version of the VR glasses. It has two OLED Displays with a resolution of 1,080 x 1200-pixel resolution - together, this results in a resolution of a total of 2,160 x 1.200 pixels.
- The Development Kit 1 of the Oculus Rift only has one Display. The resolution is 1,280 x 800 pixels, which corresponds to a resolution of 640 x 800 pixels per eye.
- The Development Kit 2 solves the Display with 1,920 × 1,080 pixels to each eye looks at each of the 960 × 1080 pixels.
