NVidia: Old driver with serious problems in uninstalling
Should you continue to have problems with your NVidia graphics card, it can be necessary that you remove the existing drivers completely. To do this, simply follow these instructions:
- Download the Software "Display Driver Uninstaller" and unzip it in any directory on your hard disk. An Installation is not necessary.
- The developer of Display Driver Uninstaller is recommended to use this in Windows safe mode. You can either restart in safe mode via Software, or follow the instructions in this practice tip.
- Once Windows starts in safe mode, run the "Display Driver uninstaller.exe".
- In the area of "graphics drivers", select (Select Graphic Driver) to select "NVIDIA". Now click on the Button "Clean and restart" (Clean and restart) to remove the existing driver. Once the process is complete, the System restarts.
- Download the latest drivers for your NVidia graphics card and install it. They are available as a Free Download for both 32-Bit and 64-Bit systems.
