Moto G: battery change

The battery of the Moto G, you can go with a little bit of craftsmanship, even if it is firmly installed. We show you in our guide on how to do this.

Battery the Moto G: you have to note

By changing the battery, your warranty may expire. Motorala explicitly points out that the battery must not be removed.
A build for your own safety, only Original spare battery.
For the Opening of the inner housing you will need a Torx screwdriver (T5) , and ideally also a small plastic tool for Opening the housing. For this purpose, a debit card, or similar enough in case of an emergency.

First of all, you need to prepare your device for the change, and the housing is disclosed. Before you begin, you must turn off your Moto G.

Then, remove the back cover on the back. To do this, you go with the thumb to the microUSB Port on the bottom side of the Moto G, and pull gently on the back. Piece for piece you can remove the cover carefully.

The housing is fastened screws from a total of 14 Torx around the device. Unscrew every single one of these 14 screws carefully and set them aside carefully.
You start at the top right-hand corner of the case carefully and replace. You will use your plastic tool to open the casing slowly until you reach the bottom of the microUSB Port. Now you can remove the housing.
Now the battery is open and you need to rotate the device 180 degrees.
