iPod Touch: changing the battery - so it goes

The battery no longer works from the iPod touch correctly, you can change it at any time. We will show you how to exchange the models, 4G, 5G and 6G works.

Preparation: remove the battery from the iPod touch to change

  1. The Display is glued to the housing. To loosen the adhesive, you heat up the Display gently with a hair dryer for about a Minute. The glue should be warm and not hot.

  10. Now that all of the important areas are loosened, you have access to the battery. This is glued to the case and must also be bypassed with care. To do this, use the plastic Tool.
  11. The battery is solved, you can go with the plastic Tool in all four corners of the iPod touch. You have to solve the complete network of components, including the battery, and swing it to the left out of the housing. Make sure the connection cable to the left and the top does not detach.
  12. Remove the protective foil from the back of the battery and remove the thin, yellow film on the battery. You have now laid the cable, with the battery attached to the motherboard.
