iPod Disk Mode - how to

You want to use your iPod as a portable hard drive or a specific Problem to solve, you need to enable the Disk Mode. We will show you how to do it.

iPod Classic Disk Mode turn on

  1. You can push the Hold switch on the top of the housing of the iPod and back, so that the device is first locked and then unlocked again.
  2. Hold the two buttons "menu" and "Select" button until the Apple Logo appears.
  3. Press now "Select" and "play/Pause", up on the screen in the disk mode appears.

iPod nano Disk Mode activate

  3. Now press immediately on the "Previous" and "next track" up on the screen in the disk mode appears.
