iPhone as a Webcam use

Thanks to the numerous Apps and Gadgets you can use the camera of your iPhone or iPad as a Webcam. We will show you exactly how this works.

iPhone as a Webcam without Sound, "Mini Webcam"

With the free iOS App "Mini-Webcam" you will have the opportunity to get your iPhone or iPad as a Webcam to use but without Sound.

Download the App to your iPhone or iPad and install it.
You start the App then.
Set the Video quality and refresh rate, and tap "Start".
The camera acts as a Webcam. On the Display you will see the address to which streamed what the image is, as well as a preview image.

The paid App "WebCamera" for about 3 euros also transfers the Sound, and can be used as a Webcam for Messenger (e.g. Skype) may be used.

You are going to buy the paid App in the App Store.
Install it on your iPhone or iPad.
You start the App.
Then, select the quality that is to be transmitted. Confirm with "Done".
For recording, you only have to push the red record button.
To use for Messenger, you need the additional software "WebCamera Desktop Application"from the manufacturer's website can download. Then connect your iPhone with PC via cable or Wireless.
