The usual operating systems such as Windows, Linux or Mac OS with already install the driver for the current printer. The example below refers to Windows 7, but other versions of Windows, virtually identical.
- Connect your printer via USB cable to your Computer and turn the printer on, then. Normally, Windows automatically searches for a driver for the newly connected device.
- Windows cannot find the driver, a message will appear. You can select whether you want Windows to search online for the appropriate printer driver or on the computer.
- You have a driver CD, select the appropriate drive and insert the appropriate CD. The Rest of the Windows done for you.
- Alternatively, you can insert at the beginning of the driver CD from Epson and the individual steps follow.
- Should you have any driver-CD, get for Epson the latest printer driver for your printer.
- You can install Windows the Epson printer manually. To do this, open the "control panel" and then select "Hardware and Sound" select "view devices and printers". Finally, click on "add a printer".
