CD drive will not open, and you can make
- If your CD-drive no longer works, you should look for in the immediate vicinity of the drive for a small hole.
- Insert a paperclip or other small pointed object into the hole to open the CD drive manually.
- Remove the CD, if one is in the drive, and then restart your PC.

- You can see in the device Manager if the drive is correctly detected by your PC is. This is the case, you should see the CD drive in the Explorer.
- Also, check on the manufacturer's page for drivers for your CD-drive will be offered.
