XBOX One: hard drive swap instructions

Many users of the Xbox One need more hard drive space. We will show you how to use the built-in HDD swap.

Preparation

In advance of the note that the manufacturer's warranty on the Xbox if the HDD is replaced. You will need the following tools:

Remove the warranty seal.
With a plastic tool, the fan cover off, pry from the edge gently.
Slide the plastic tab on the front corner of the Housing to the rear and remove it.
Disconnect the upper and lower housing parts with a plastic spatula from each other. You start on the housing rear and then work your way to the front. Caution: Numerous Clips holding together the two parts.
The upper enclosure lid, lift carefully and slide it slightly to the rear.
The ribbon connector by sliding the lock upwards with a forceps. Then you remove the ribbon cable from the connector and remove the upper housing.
The front of the housing you can remove it is only after the ribbon cable as in the step previously solved.
The loudspeaker connector on the front panel Board carefully peel back.
The Wifi module, you can solve with a T9 Torx screwdriver, from sheet metal screws.
The inner metal case open after you remove the 8 T10 screws.
Under the Metallgehäse the drive unit is visible. The drive is a SATA data cable and a power cable-cable is connected, you disconnect.
Finally, you need to remove the 4 T10 Torx screws that hold the drive on the plastic module.
Now you can replace the drive and the Xbox in the reverse order to assemble.
