GUI: Graphical user interface of Games and programs
- GUI stands for "Graphical User Interface". It refers to the graphical interface you use to operate a game or program.
- If you start a video game, it is a usually in a drop-down menu, in which you saves can load, or the graphics can change any of the settings. This Interface is referred to as a GUI.
- The programmer of a game, for example, that you should have to load in the menu via the function "game". This is in the programming language but only a command that you would theoretically enter on the screen to load a game.
- The GUI provides a Button to Load the game and linked to the programming language with a graphical Element, which facilitates the operation.
- GUIs there are, however, not only in video games. Almost every program has a graphical user interface.

Some computer games are available for download only via the appropriate Installer. The most famous of such Installer is Steam. A other Installer, the Origin Installer from EA. What is Origin exactly, we will explain in the next tip.
