Stronghold Crusader 1 & 2 on Hamachi to play

Here we explain how you Stronghold Crusader on Hamachi in multiplayer mode, can play.

1.) Hamachi for Stronghold Crusader setup

You install the VPN program Hamachi. You can LogMeIn Hamachi download here.
After you open Hamachi, join either an existing network or create a new one. Click on "network" and select the appropriate Option.
Please note that all players must use the same network.
Now open in control panel "network and sharing center". You can also open it directly by typing in the Windows search "sharing". In General, it is the first hit.
In the network and sharing center, click change the left on "change adapter settings."
Here you open the menu item "Advanced" and select "Advanced options". The menu is not displayed, press the [Alt] key to make it visible.
Under Connections you will find here also Hamachi. Slide the Adapter with the green arrows at the top of the list and save the Change by clicking on OK.

You now start the game and select the multiplayer mode.

You create a game and select TCP/IP.
If you are just waiting for your teammates to give you their Hamachi IP address. You can find this next to your name in the Hamachi Client.
As a player you will also open the multiplayer mode.
Select TCP/IP as the connection type and enter the IP address of the host.
Now you can connect and medieval battles.
