Steam: charge credit - how it works

Now to the Summer Sale, you want to of course, have enough credits for the bargains. The Online Games Shop Steam, you can recharge your credit in different Ways. We'll show you where it goes and what types of payment there are. An illustrated guide you can find in our gallery.

The different types of payment on Steam

• Steam offers many types of payment. Standard credit cards are, of course. Come to PayPal, Webmoney, GiroPay, Moneybookers, sofort banking and Paysafecard. The latter are Prepaid Codes you can buy at vending machines or petrol stations - even without being in one of the Online services registered.
• Now there are even Steam your own credit cards, for example, in large electrical stores, or at Gamestop in value of 20 or 50 euros. The payment service Click and Buy has been discontinued and is no longer thus even when Steam is available.

1. Steam wallet online recharge

Caution: the Steam wallet cards can be incomprehensible way, with this method, not redeem. How you can find out in the following paragraph.

1. First of all, you need to be on the Steam website to login. Then you go to the top right on "Account" and choose in the menu the Option "account details".
2. On the right side a Box with "your Account" and the "Charge your Steam wallet appears". Click on it, it opens a page with different amounts: 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100 Euro.
3. After selecting an amount, the Palette opens with payment types. Here you just have to select the desired number of way to perform and your Account is charged with the desired amount. You see then in the upper right corner as the current balance.

2. Balances with Steam gift cards recharge

Where "account" is, don't you, in spite of eleven different number of ways the most obvious: the Steam wallet cards. You are on a whole other page housed. To find this pure happiness is the thing: it's hidden and not in the Account menu of the website selectable.

• In the installed Steam program, the Codes can also redeem.
• The Option is found but also not easy: it is hidden not in the Account area, but in a sub-menu of "games": "Steam wallet Code redeem".
