The biggest difference between League of Legends and DotA 2 is the kind of paid-for content.
- In DotA 2 you can play all the heroes available for free. You only pay for optional items that change the appearance of your heroes. All prices are given in Euro. The content created by the Community, a portion of the proceeds goes to the Creator of the article.
- League of Legends, it provides you with a week ten Champions available to play for free. These vary from week to week. If you want to play a Champion permanently, you need to buy this.
