If you can't change the language as outlined in section 1, you need to follow a different path:
- Open the the Battle.net Client.
- Under the Diablo Logo, click on the Link "options" and select the "game settings".
- You put the checkmark next to "Additional command-line arguments".
- Enter in the text box, type the command "locale xxXX". Instead of xxXX, you can use the Code of your desired language. The German language has the Code "deDE", the English "enGB", and for French frFR is "".
