Cheats and Tricks in Starbound – is that possible?
The following tips and Tricks you can apply only if you have an older Version of the "Furious Koala".
- You have the option to edit the Quests to ercheaten to weapons and other items. The items you get when you play the custom Quest. Note: The following Cheats can only be used if you have an older Version of the "Furious Koala".
- This Update was on 26. January 2014 edited. If you have a newer Update, you can no longer use this Cheat. Also for the Multiplayer mode, you can't use these unfortunately.
- Tip: you can Steam find out what Version you have.
- Before you begin, however, with the Cheats, you should back up the program folder of Starbound. This is achieved by right clicking on the game file and the "file path" and select open.
- Then go in the program folder of Starbound in the folder "assests" > "quests" and then "tutorial". Open the file "aviantutorial.template" with the Editor. You right-click on the file and select "Open with" > "Editor".
- Change the 11. Line " [ [ "beamaxe", 1], [ "diamond pickaxe" ] ]". This diamond pickaxe, it describes the respective Item, which you can modify to your liking.

- With this Cheat you have added the respective species in the respective weapon or the subject.
- These names of the items you find in the folder "Tools". You will have to copy here the name of the relevant Items and paste it as described above in the file.
