PS4 - Automatic Downloads enable
First of all, automatic Downloads must be enabled in the settings of your game console, so your System has the permission, directly updates for their Software to download.
- You can start your PS4 and log in with your user account. Then press your control pad or the left Stick to the top.
- Open the menu item "System" and then select "Automatic Downloads and Uploads".
- Enable select the check box next to "Automatic Downloads and Uploads".

Setting up automatic Updates for the PS4
Now we must login to your user account automatically, and the standby mode will be activated. These functions configure the following:
- After logging in with your user account, you need to press on the Above button and choose "settings".
- Next, open the far right "settings" and then "power save settings".
- Now press on "set functions available In standby mode".
- Now you need to connect first a tick in the box next to the Option "the Internet" and then next to "Turn on the PS4 from the network" setting.
- Now you just have to press and hold the PS button on your Controller and select the Option "turn off PS4" button. Your Playstation 4 will now go into standby mode. You can tell from the indicator light for the PS4, which now lights up orange.
