MHL Adapter Xperia Z2 with TV connect
The new Generation of wired Audio and video transmission, called MHL 3.0. The Sony Xperia Z2 is among the first devices equipped with this Standard. Thus high-resolution 4K content on a 4K TV using various cables. Here's how:
- You first need an MHL-Adapter to the Signal of your cell phone in HDMI output. The Adapter work only with a power supply, the Micro USB charging cable of your phone is. Furthermore, you will need a HDMI cable to the TV, plug it in.
- First, connect the Adapter to your Z2 by plugging the cable into the Micro USB Jack of your mobile phones.
- Plug an end of the HDMI cable into the designated Slot of the adapter. The other end plugs into a free Slot of your TV.
- Finally, you will need to supply the Adapter with power, to put it into operation. Do not use the charger for your Xperia Z2 and you can put it in the Mirco-USB connector of the adapter.
- On your Smartphone the message that your device has successfully connected to the TV now appears in the status bar.
- Optional: tap on "TV launcher", you can start the RCP mode. By RCP ("Remote Control Protocol") will control the basic functions of the mobile phone with your TV remote control. To do this, you need to check the manual for the TVs, whether this supports RCP.
