Notification sound in WhatsApp for group chat turn off
Who would not want to miss private messages in WhatsApp, but by the standing of notifying users about group chat-Messages that disturbed feel, can set the notification sound for a group, simply silence. This is how it works:
- Open it in WhatsApp group chat, the notifications, you can mute the want to.
- Tap the Overflow menu in the top right, and select "Silent mode" from the menu.
- Then, you can choose the period of time for the mute. A choice of eight hours, a day and a week here.
- The notifications can optionally also hide status bar. To do this, remove the check mark from the Checkbox in front of "notifications".
- Confirm the settings with "Ok".
