Step 1: Threema before Re-Installation back up
- They do not depend much on your Chats, you can delete the App and re-download. The Backup and subsequent restore of the Apps, however, takes only a few minutes.

Step 2: Threema re-install
- Press and hold the App on your Smartphone, you can delete the application easy. Alternatively, you will find instructions for the removal of Apps on iOS and Android. Turn off your Smartphone, then completely and again.
- Download now the latest Version of Threema for iOS and Threema for Android download. Since you have paid for the App already, you do not need to pay the application, of course.
- You start Threema, and select the Option "restore Backup". Follow the instructions, the Backup record.
