Sync music via Samsung Kies

If you want to synchronize your music collection with your Android mobile device, you can use Samsung's own Sync Software Kies.

First, you have to set gravel on the "normal mode", if you have not already done so during the Installation - this makes everything much easier.
  • You have to click simply on the open gravel of the window under "view" -> "mode" switch to "normal mode".

  1. Now connect your Android device to the PC. May be installed automatically by Windows drivers, which allow for the smooth co-operation with gravel.
  2. If the initialization of the device is completed, it will appear in Kies under Connected devices.
  3. Just click under "library" on the tab "music". Now you can choose whether you want to transfer your entire music library on the Samsung phone or only a certain music title or a single playlist.

Now we come to the important part, the Syncing:
  1. Simply select the desired title with a check mark and select the top "On a desired storage device from the transfer of" medium - you have the choice between "Internal storage" and "External storage", if your Samsung phone has an SD card.
  2. Now the synchronization of your music starts selection, you can monitor the progress on the status report at the bottom right of the Kies window. Have fun with your music!

By the way: music can also be transferred manually from PC to your phone without using Samsung Kies for this. Drag the songs to it just using Windows Explorer on the (connected) device .
