How to do a hard reset without entering a password
You can also do a hard reset without entering your password.
- Connect the S22 to your PC with a USB cable.
- Then turn off the smartphone and then press the volume up and power buttons.
- Hold the buttons until the phone vibrates, first the Samsung logo appears, and finally the recovery mode.
- You can navigate in this menu with the volume keys. Select "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" and confirm by clicking the Power button.
- Then select "Factory Data Reset" using the same procedure.
- Finally, you must then select and confirm "Reboot system now". A Hard Reset will now be carried out and the mobile phone will be reset to the factory settings.
