HTC One S open: The right tool
- Really a lot of you don't need to Open it from the HTC One S. The right tool is not yet in the normal handyman needs.
- At Amazon you will find numerous mobile phone repair sets. The Sets differ mainly only in the accessories.
- Each screw, the remove them from the HTC One S, should then be restored to its original place. Make a small sketch or use an alternative System that you can use to keep track of.

Step 1: HTC One S open
Note: The following instructions are based on the EU model of the HTC One S. devices sold outside the EU, differ slightly in some points.
- Turn off your HTC One S is the first completely. Do not place a cloth or similar under the Smartphone so that the Display is scratched.
- Take the triangular Plectrum made of plastic and slide it on the bottom of the microphone hole between the front and the back from HTC.
- You slide the Pick in the gap a little to the side, the cover plate detaches. You can use this technique also for the cover on the top of the page from the HTC One S.
- At the top of the Smartphone you can find under the cover with four screws. Below you will find two screws. Remove the screws with the appropriate screwdriver.
- Please refer to the bottom of the plastic cover and go with the Plectrum between the Display and the housing along. Has formed everywhere a gap, you can remove the Back Cover.

Step 2: - Open HTC One S repair
- The HTC One S is now opened. Unscrew the top right of the unit to the last screw, you can remove the plastic cover around the camera.
- The circuit Board, the motherboard, is now complete. Loosen the bottom left of the last screw on the motherboard.
- Take a plastic Tool of your choice to Hand and open the bottom right of the motherboard, the three tilt switches. Below, also, such a tilt is in the middle-to-find switch.
- Press the switch gently to the top, you can remove the flat cable from its Position.
- Disconnect the cable between battery and Mainboard, you can remove both components from the HTC One S.
- Note: assemble the Smartphone, be sure that each bolt comes back to its original place.
