Hard and Soft Reset on Galaxy Note 4
A Soft Reset helps in case of minor errors, in this case, the Smartphone will be launched again. Press and hold the Power Button for a few seconds. When you Hard-Reset all content and settings will be deleted:
- Turn off the Galaxy Note 4 completely and connect it to the electricity.
- You now hold the volume up button, the Home Button and the Power button for a few seconds.
- The Smartphone vibrates, release all buttons except the volume up button.
- As soon as the Display shows now, release the last button, and select the Option "wipe data / factory reset".
- Using the volume buttons to move up and down via the Power Button, select the individual points.
- Confirm with "Yes – delete all user data", will delete all data on your Galaxy Note 4.
- Choose after several minutes, the Option of "Reboot system now", you can set up the Smartphone new.
