Old meets new - AOL mail you can access with your Android Smartphone. Besides using the pre-installed E-Mail App, we introduce you to the Webmail version of aol.com .

1. Pre-Installed Android Mail App

In this section, it is the pre installed Android App "E-Mail". Setting up the E-Mail is quite simple. Advantages of this solution: your E-Mails will be retrieved to the configuration automatically in an adjustable interval; moreover, you can have the new E-mail notify. However, anyone with access to your Smartphone can read your E-Mails - a password prompt.
  1. After Opening the Mail App, you will find two input fields. One for the E-mail address and a password. Just your usual data type and confirm with "Next".
  2. Next, the App checks your data. If this is successful, you will enter the setting menu (see Screenshot, point 2). Note that, for example, frequent E-Mail Syncs on the Android battery drain.
  3. In the last step, you name your account - this is handy if you use multiple Mail Accounts, such as "Private" and "Business". You can also enter your name here; this will appear on outgoing emails as the sender.
  4. Important: All of the above-described steps refer to the default Mail App of Android, as you can see, for example, on the Google Nexus 4. In the case of other surfaces, such as Touchwiz (Samsung) or Sense (HTC), can vary the Set up of an E-mail address via the Mail App.

2. Mobile Website aol.com
