Dropbox folder on Android download and sync
With the official Dropbox App for Android you can only single files, but no folders download. For Offline synchronization, you need a special App like Dropbox Sync.
- Install Dropbox Sync on your Smartphone or Tablet.
- Then launch the Tool and login with your Dropbox credentials.
- Now you can define the folder to be synchronized. To do this, tap on the top box in the section "Local folders on the device" and navigate to the directory on your device, you want to the Dropbox data download.
- Then tap on the second box under "Remote folder in Dropbox" and navigate to the desired folder of your Dropbox.
- As the "synchronization method" select "upload and Download", if you want to synchronize the folder in both directions. Alternatively, you can also allow only Downloads from the Dropbox or upload from your device.
- Then set the Option "enable synchronization" to on, and tap "Save".
- The App synchronizes both folders and loads all the files in your Dropbox. This can take a while depending on size and network connection, some time.

To Sync Dropbox synchronizes your files in the Background automatically, you need to turn on the automatic synchronization.
- To do this, go in the App to the Tab "Synchronized folders" and switch the Option "auto sync enable".
