Android 4.4 KitKat: runtime (ART) to enable
Because the new runtime environment is not yet Mature fully, it is hidden from your Android device easily:
- Open the "settings" on your Android Smartphone and scroll there down a bit to the point "Over the phone".
- At the very bottom you find the entry "Build number". Tap seven Times on the field, to access the developer options.
- Go back one step and select the "developer options", which appear now.
- Press the "duration setting" and then select "KIND". You go again, make sure the developer options are at the top connected to the right of the screen, really "on".
- After a restart a System Update and all the Apps have to be re installed. Please note that the Apps need to TYPE a little more storage space.
