Windows Update Agent uninstall – is that possible?
- In the case of the Windows Update Agent, short-WUA, is a system application that searches for Updates, and your System is up-to-date holds.
- Here, the Agent does not work often in the Background, so they understand the work a lot.
- In some cases, you may receive a Windows notification that new Updates will be downloaded or are available. You can ignore these messages, because these will disappear after a few seconds.
- An Uninstall of the Windows Update Agent is not possible.
- As an Alternative, you can disable automatic Updates, you should disturb them.
- Note, however, that you will receive from then on, no automatic Updates and more. In order to keep your System up to date, you need to Windows Update then run manually.
