Windows Live ID search
- Open the page where you log in the normal way with your Live ID. This is, for example Hotmail, so there is, most likely, your address is still stored in the Browser. You go to the Website and click on the box for the Live ID. Press the arrow key "down", could there be now displayed on your Live ID (see figure).
- You have used the Windows Live Messenger and this is still installed on your Computer, so you could find your e-mail address.
- If this does not help ask friends or relatives to whom you have sent an E-Mail via the Windows Live ID. You will find these still in the Inbox, or even saved as a contact on your Computer or Smartphone.

The password of the Windows Live ID reset
- Open the following Link or click the input box to log on to the Link "Can't access your account?".
- Enter your Windows Live ID, below the Captcha and click the blue "Continue"Button.
- You can now select whether you want to send the Link to reset the password to the previously-stored alternative Email address, or replied to before, want to security question can be solved. You are currently not able to do any of these things, you will find below the Link "I can't see any of these options to use". You can open this and enter a different Email address, which you currently can access.
- Depending on the Option you now go through a different procedure. With a little effort, you should be able to then reset your password.
