The Interactive Tiles work in Windows 10
Microsoft has already thought of 2013 on the Interactive Tiles. These are, however, still in development, and will only appear at a later date through an Update for Windows 10.
- The Interactive Tiles to represent a logical further development of the so far from Windows 8 and 8.1 well-known tiles of the Apps. So far, it has also changed under Windows 10, the tiles in the start menu.
- Already in Windows 8, there are so-called Live tiles. These are automatically updated to show, for example, the current weather forecast. With the Interactive Tiles, Microsoft is more in Windows 10 a step further and allowed it to use the Apps in the start menu, without opening this really is.
- The tiles are a sort of Mini-App. Interactive Tiles make probably by a small icon at the bottom right corner noticeable, the tile can maximize.
- As an example, Microsoft called the calculator. You have pinned the calculator to the start menu, you can open either normal or as an Interactive Tile to use.
