OneDrive via group policy to disable
Note that OneDrive had the name "SkyDrive". Optionally, the Cloud Tool is still under the old name on your computer, but it is for the manual analog for both designations may apply.
- Open the group policy by pressing [Windows key]+[R], "gpedit.msc type in" and click "OK".
- Navigate to "computer configuration" > "Administrative templates" > "Windows components" > "OneDrive" (or "SkyDrive").
- Double-click the middle point "usage of OneDrive for file storage to prevent".
- Here, select the Option "Activate" and confirm with "OK".
