With the VLC Media Player Streams received
To receive a Video Stream or an Audio Stream, such as, for example, an Internet Radio, you need the URL of the stream.
- Open the VLC Media Player, click the top right of the menu bar, click "media".
- Select the item "network stream open", it opens a new window.
- Enter the network address of the stream. You can find this on the website of the provider. Under the circumstances, there is also a Button with a VLC Logo. It is a private Stream, you usually need the IP address.
- In order for the Stream to work smoothly, you should enable the bottom of the hook, before the "show More options" and the Caching value to something high, put on, for example, 5000 ms.
- Then click on the Button "play", it starts to Stream.
