Sound and Video: Analog signals
People can process sounds and images with an analog camera. This means that signals often have to be analog to transfer with an infinitely variable, continuous history. To transfer physical quantities, such as, for example, the voltage can take any value and thus differ from the digital technology, which can only take the values 0 and 1.
