Ubuntu: start Task Manager - how to

Task Manager on Ubuntu start

Depending on which Desktop environment you use, be supplied other programs with which you can monitor. This manual refers to the most common surfaces Unity and Gnome 3:
  • Unity: If you are using Unity, open the search by pressing the Windows key.
  • You search for the Keyword "system monitoring" or in the English Version to "System Monitor". Start button then the eponymous program by clicking on the left mouse button.
  • Gnome 3: Gnome 3, you follow the menu path "System" > "administration" > "system monitoring".
