Partition under Ubuntu zoom in: GParted helps
In order to increase Ubuntu Partition, you must first download the program "GParted" and install it. To do this, proceed as follows:
- Open the Terminal. To do this, click with the right mouse button on the Desktop and select "Terminal open".
- You are now ready to install "GParted" using the command "sudo apt-get install gparted".
- Ubuntu now automatically loads the required packages downloaded and installed.

After you have installed "GParted", you can zoom in with the program your Partition:
- Type in the Terminal the command "sudo gparted".
- As soon as you have to enter your password, you can use the program.
- Now go with a right-click on the Partition you want to enlarge, and select "size and Move" change/.
- Select the new size and complete the process by clicking on the "size change".
- Caution: Some file systems can only be mounted offline, so that enlarged. To do this, ReiserFS, NTFS, and FAT count. To this to hang out before editing, you must select in the window of "GParted" only with a right click on the Partition "Unmount".
