Skype location for Chat logs to find
- Simultaneously press the keys "Windows" and "E", so that the Explorer opens.
- Enter the top in the address bar the path "c:\users\xxx\appdata\roaming\skype". The entry "XXX" must be replaced by your Windows user name. You use Windows 8, the path is "C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.SkypeApp\LocalState\".
- Then open the folder that has your Skype name.
- Here is the file "main is located.db," which includes the Chat log. This allows you to back up or to another hard disk copy.
