Raspberry Pi Ubuntu download and on SD-card flashing
To get Ubuntu on your Raspberry Pi Running, you must first download the current Image and to the SD card of your Raspberry Pi's dubbing:
- First, you must have the latest Ubuntu Mate Version from their Website download.
- Download also the program Win32 Disk Imager in our download area , download and install this.
- Now insert your SD card from the Raspberry Pi in a suitable reading device to your Computer and open the Win32 Disk Imager.
- You open it, under "Image File", the downloaded Image of Ubuntu-Mate and select under "Device", the drive letter of your SD card.
- Finally, click on "Write". The Image will now be transferred to the SD card.

After you have played with Ubuntu-Mate on the SD card of your Raspberry Pi's, it must be installed now:
- First, plug the SD card into your Raspberry Pi and plug in your needed devices, such as mouse, keyboard, screen and network cable.
- Then, connect the power cable to your Raspberry Pi. This is now driving high and starts up with the configuration screen.
- Here you have to set the desired language, time zone and keyboard layout and then create a user.
- Now, Ubuntu Mate installed. After the successful Installation you can log in with your previously established user data.
