To disable automatic Updates on the PS3
- You navigate in the main menu of the PS3 to the point "settings".
- In the collection you will find the item "System settings". Confirm with [X].
- Then select the item "Automatic Updates" with [X].
- Confirm you now have the Option to"". Thus, the Update function is disabled.
