Photoshop: the masking mode works

With the quick mask mode in Photoshop, you can create a selection and edit. Exactly how the mode works, you will learn in this practical tip.

So the quick mask mode works in Photoshop

  1. In order to make a selection using the mask mode, select the rod first, the desired area with the magic.
  2. Then click "Select" in image processing, and then twice on the "quick mask mode".
  3. The selected area is now covered with a transparent red film.
  4. You can then close the Dialog box "Select". Now take the brush and use the color black. To coat the part of the image you want to add to the selection.
  5. To define the edge of the selection, use the Filter "Gaussian blur".
  6. Finally, then click "Select" > "masking mode". You can then continue with the edit of the full image to continue.
