LibreOffice: using templates - how to

You create regular documents with LibreOffice, you can also use templates. We will show you how it works.

Templates in LibreOffice use - so it goes

In LibreOffice you can create your own templates via the "file" > "document template" > "save As template". Then, you open the pre-made documents via "file" > "New" > "templates". Alternatively, you can use the pre-made templates:
  1. You open a LibreOffice program, and select the top left of the red tool Icon. Alternatively click in the menu bar, click "Format" and choose "format templates".
  2. In the Dialog "format templates" click on a template, and then click the little watering can Icon.
  3. Finally, select the location where the template is to be involved.
