Convert JPG to vector graphic
In this tutorial we use the free program Inkscape. Also, many paid programs such as Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator can vector create graphics.
- Click the top left of the window, click the "file" menu and select the Option "Open". Now select the desired JPG image.
- Then a small window will open. Here, select the Option "Linking" and confirm with "OK".
- Select the image with the mouse and click at the top under the category "path" Option to "trace Bitmap".
- Here you can make various settings. Under the tab "mode" to select, for example, the criteria according to which the vectors are formed.
- About the "Update" Button you will receive a small preview of the result. With the Button "OK" to start the process.
- The vector graphic in EPS Format, can be saved.
