First aid: No sound in Discord
You are with your friends in the Discord, but they hear no sound, first check the following:
- If you are a Discord Server to join, make sure to Speak in a voice channel.
- You click to Discord in the bottom left of the Gear icon and switch to the menu "voice & Video". Here you can select the correct output device and adjust the volume using the Controller.
- Then click with the left mouse button on the speaker icon in the Windows taskbar, and put in a suitable volume.
- Right-click on the speaker to get a selection. Here you choose the volume mixer and check, whether the tone of the Discord-the App is muted.
- In Discord you will see the user names of other Chat participants usually flash green, while you're talking. If not, the Problem may be the microphone of your friend.
- Click on the bottom left next to "voice chat" connected to the i Symbol. Click the tab to "debug" to see details about your current connection.
- Restart your Computer again so that the new settings can be accepted.
