DaVinci Resolve: The Project Manager
The first thing you see when you start Resolve, is the project Manager.
- Here, you can create with a few clicks, a new project.
- Also folders here to organize your projects create.

The Media Pool is primarily used to import Video and Audio files.
- You can also edit the settings of your project by clicking on the Gear at the bottom right.
- Here you can edit, for example, the resolution and frame rate.

In the Edit area, you can find all the important tools that you need cut for a great video.
- On the left you can find the files in the Media pool, as well as some Audio and Video effects that you can Drag-and-Drop in a video track.
- With [A] you can switch to the normal mouse pointer. With this video, for example, move tracks. With [T] to select the Trim Tool, which adapts Clips to the length. With [B] can you Clips in certain Places "cut".

Here you can make all settings related to the Audio tracks together.
- Your Audio files you can cut, among other things, for example, in the length.
- The volume and amplification can subsequently readjust.

If you have cut your Video ready and this want to render, this is done in the Tab "Deliver".
- Here you can choose both resolution and Bit rate and frame rate of the later Videos.
- If you are not familiar with Bit - and frame rates so good, you can also select a Render template.
